PowerBoss was an innovation in the creation of the first "Total Sweeper Scrubber" (TSS)

PowerBoss improved their production process by implementing assembly lines for all products.

Minuteman International purchased PowerBoss. A complete line of industrial and commercial ride-on sweepers and scrubbers started being sold through PowerBoss.

New management was assigned to PowerBoss. PowerBoss is now recognized as a member of the Hako Group. Rudi Gutmann was appointed as the President and CEO, and Ruediger Schroeder was appointed as the Vice President and COO.

The PowerBoss brand was launched as a completely separate line from Minuteman and the Corporate color has changed from burgundy to a brightorange.
